FKA Twigs - Eusexua: Her Best Album Yet

I’ve been a fan of FKA Twigs for years now, but with Eusexua, she’s really outdone herself. I’ve always admired her ability to push boundaries, but this album feels like the culmination of everything she’s been building towards. It’s bold, raw, and completely immersive—it’s hands down my favourite album of hers so far.

A New Level of Brilliance

From the moment the album starts, you’re pulled into this dreamy, intense world that only Twigs can create. The production is stunning—layered, intricate, and perfectly balanced with her signature vocals. Tracks like "Perfect Stranger," "Strip Tease," and "Drums of Death" have been on repeat for me. They each bring something unique to the table, but they all share this sense of vulnerability and power that ties the album together so well.

"Perfect Stranger" is probably my ultimate favourite—it’s haunting but so melodic, and the lyrics really hit hard. Then there’s "Strip Tease," which is just pure magic. The way she plays with rhythm and melody here is genius. And "Drums of Death"? Absolute fire. It’s the kind of track that makes you want to close your eyes and just feel the music.

An Emotional Journey

What makes Eusexua stand out for me is how personal it feels. Twigs has always been incredible at putting her emotions into her music, but here it feels even more raw and unfiltered. The themes of love, loss, and self-discovery run through every track, and it’s impossible not to connect with it. It’s like she’s inviting you into her world, and it’s beautiful, messy, and utterly human.

Vinyl Love

I have to mention how gorgeous this vinyl is. The milky clear pressing is stunning, and the cover art is just as bold and unapologetic as the music itself. It’s one of those records that’s not just a joy to listen to but also a piece of art to own. I’m so glad I grabbed it for my collection—it’s going to be one of those albums I keep coming back to.

Final Thoughts

Eusexua isn’t just an album—it’s an experience. It’s her most cohesive and emotionally charged project yet, and I honestly think it’s a masterpiece. As someone who’s followed her career for years, it’s amazing to see how she’s grown as an artist while staying true to what makes her so unique.

If you’re a fan—or even if you’re new to her music—you need to give this a listen. It’s easily one of the best albums of the year for me, and I can’t wait to keep exploring all the layers and emotions packed into it.

10/10. My favourite Twigs album yet.
